AS, it's actually pretty interesting. It was the "first" reality game. I can't get into that fear factor, and big brother stuff. But I have been watching this since the beginning and I still swear that the Aussie outback was the BEST one! GO TINA! hehe! Other than that I don't watch any other prime time show and I haven't watched soap operas since I was like 11. But this one just gets me! LOL |

...hmmm...I dunno...I see Reality every day, probably why watching it on TV doesn't overly interest me...plus of course its an editted 'Reality', for the cameras, and I can't stand to watch people getting all wussy because they have to 'rough it' in the bush or wherever when that is kinda what so many people do for a holiday trip... |

As, but the difference between you and them is, they don't have a clue what they are doing, meaning they have little or no survival skills. They are also unprepared or limited in what they are given. It's not a week's vacation in the woods with a tent...LOL. It's like 6 weeks. Have you ever watched it? |

Yeah...I watched the first one...must admit I liked that one, Richard won it didn't he?? He was cool...cunning as a fox. But you are right...its more about taking people out of their own environments and putting them somewhere totally unfamiliar. Put me in a bush to fend for myself for weeks on end and I'd be fine, as thats how I was brought up...but put me on the streets of NYC and I reckon I wouldn't last 5 minutes *lol* |

...yeah...but you'd be able to find your way back home. Me, I'd be huddled up in the corner of some shop doorway pleading for someone to take me outa there...*snickers*...even just looking at NYC streets on TV, the hussle and bussle of the place totally gives me the willies... |

Oh personally....it's a big fat I don't know. There is always something that clicks with some people and they have this instant bond. Will I be able to initially make that same bond? I think my best skill on the show would be my way of going below the radar. I would contribute to the tribe, but not be too much of a gloryhound (sorry Rupe, that was part of your downfall good buddy), and I would lie, but try not to do really bad ones. Like for instance being faithfull, oh I'd explain forever I should stop now, while I'm survivor behind. My ranking out of 16, I'll be voted off 2 before the jury forms. I'm being honest, I'd think I'd be one of those coattail riders even though I have leader qualities, I'd be too afraid to show them. |

AS, I would NEVER be able to drive there. I drove around in a friend's car, but I would be a wreck. They literally drive on each other's rears and if you are not moving like 40 people honk at ya!...LOL. |

My biggest downfall if any would be my mouth! I have the tendency when I get sick of people to just tell em right where to go. But I know I do this so I think I would have a pretty good shot a trying to control it. But I know definately I would be out the day after the disgusting eating challenge. If I made it that far with my mouth, I am out that night cause I gag and dry heave just watching them eat that stuff...LOL |

I was just thinking! You know near the end, where there are 2 remaining and they have a rememberance of everyone....They are going to have so much Rupert highlights! Everyone else will just be blips! I'm so corny, I always look forward to those montages each season. |

You gonna be mad at me: But i'm so HAPPY he's gone! I didn't want him to go any further...everyone's like he played the game the best and bla bla...this is not a camping trip tis is a game...backstabbing will be there of COURSE...tis is not go camping, play games and la-dee-da...i think he left like his final words :"I wanted this very badly; I needed this very badly. This would have helped my life; this would have helped a lot of people's lives; this would have made my life a lot better. I always get hurt trusting people. Why should this be any different? " i kind of hate the fact he said "i always get hurt" and bla bla bla...did he really tihnk someone would rather want his friendship (a 30 day friendship) over a million dollars?...i mean he would do the same...(i think)...but then..yeah IT'S GAME!...he was outplayed, outwitted and outlasted...sure in real life...he would be liked...but BECUASE of that...he was a threat and thats that!...hmm....no offence to u in whatever i said above, just proving a point about the whole rupert thing, because all i've seen in all the survivor forums i belong to...is how people are gonna quit ewatching survivor because he's gone!...i find that a huge load of *rubbisH* but then that's my opinion...ok ...i better leave it at that...before i say more stuff |

I loved Rupert and he totally got shafted by trusting Lil. She lied right to his face and I would never want her representing a scout troup if she lies so easily,I cant stand Jon and I cant wait to see him gone |

Lol! Wow, he was my dad's favorite survivor too...that's too bad. I haven't watched survivor at all this season though. But If I did, I think I'd do okay. i wouldn't be the first person off, but I definitly wouldn't win. Probably most likely because I would be so picky about the disgusting food they have to eat! *barfs* :-D |

LPF, I understand what you are saying and there is a lot of what you said that I agree with. However what people enjoyed about him is the fact that he would have been able to spend the rest of his life there! He truly did have the skills of logic and work ethic to make it there if he were never to be rescued. He played the REALITY of what the game is supposed to be. If he could have kept the emotional side out of things he probably could have made it through the whole thing. He had a mouth along with a bit of temper and he was just very outright and blunt. I didn't catch the show this morning to see him and his reaction there, but I think that he was just truly shocked that he went. I mean even Sandra was like blown out of the water! He was just really hurt by that cause he didn't see it coming. He is probably watching this now and seeing all the stuff he shouldn't have done....LOL |
