Oh NO They DIDN'T!!!.........

Survivor is NOW officially over! They got rid of RUPERT! He took that hard! I believe it was the first time I have ever heard the outed member say a word other than goodbye with a friendly wave. I even thought for a second he was going to become one of those they would have to cut camera on! LOL

I am so totally not interested in this game. And WHAT is Lil thinking? She just bought all that final three junk hook line and sinker. I have to admit I am seriously disappointed!

If you watch survivor how well do you think you would do on the show? What would be the first most likely thing to get you kicked off?

Date: 11/20/2003 9:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 53054    lozl why does nothing interesting happen when we have suvivor lolz....or is it the same one lolz...ok im confused!
Date: 11/20/2003 9:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 21867    *wonders why people watch Survivor to start with* ;)
Date: 11/20/2003 9:52:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    Um Hangy man, whatcha talkin bout? LOL
Date: 11/20/2003 9:52:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    AS, it's actually pretty interesting. It was the "first" reality game. I can't get into that fear factor, and big brother stuff. But I have been watching this since the beginning and I still swear that the Aussie outback was the BEST one! GO TINA! hehe! Other than that I don't watch any other prime time show and I haven't watched soap operas since I was like 11. But this one just gets me! LOL
Date: 11/20/2003 9:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 21867    ...hmmm...I dunno...I see Reality every day, probably why watching it on TV doesn't overly interest me...plus of course its an editted 'Reality', for the cameras, and I can't stand to watch people getting all wussy because they have to 'rough it' in the bush or wherever when that is kinda what so many people do for a holiday trip...
Date: 11/20/2003 10:02:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    As, but the difference between you and them is, they don't have a clue what they are doing, meaning they have little or no survival skills. They are also unprepared or limited in what they are given. It's not a week's vacation in the woods with a tent...LOL. It's like 6 weeks. Have you ever watched it?
Date: 11/20/2003 10:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 21867    Yeah...I watched the first one...must admit I liked that one, Richard won it didn't he?? He was cool...cunning as a fox. But you are right...its more about taking people out of their own environments and putting them somewhere totally unfamiliar. Put me in a bush to fend for myself for weeks on end and I'd be fine, as thats how I was brought up...but put me on the streets of NYC and I reckon I wouldn't last 5 minutes *lol*
Date: 11/20/2003 10:06:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    Agent Smith, I live in Upstate NY and in the city, I don't last five minutes either..LOL!
Date: 11/20/2003 10:07:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    But maybe if you strolled in like Crocodile Dundee, you might have a chance..LOL...;)
Date: 11/20/2003 10:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 21867    ...yeah...but you'd be able to find your way back home. Me, I'd be huddled up in the corner of some shop doorway pleading for someone to take me outa there...*snickers*...even just looking at NYC streets on TV, the hussle and bussle of the place totally gives me the willies...
Date: 11/20/2003 10:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    apologies, I wrote a similar post, but it has different content. Your post wasn't up yet as mine was being written. On mine I put predictions and such. I'm still fuming.....Grrrrr. But like you said Rupert took it like a man
Date: 11/20/2003 10:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 51587    omg..the got rid of him? now i dont wanna watch the show..i loved him..i hope he gets all those ppl back for votin him out now *walks off mad* lol *huggs*
Date: 11/20/2003 10:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    Oh personally....it's a big fat I don't know. There is always something that clicks with some people and they have this instant bond. Will I be able to initially make that same bond? I think my best skill on the show would be my way of going below the radar. I would contribute to the tribe, but not be too much of a gloryhound (sorry Rupe, that was part of your downfall good buddy), and I would lie, but try not to do really bad ones. Like for instance being faithfull, oh I'd explain forever I should stop now, while I'm survivor behind. My ranking out of 16, I'll be voted off 2 before the jury forms. I'm being honest, I'd think I'd be one of those coattail riders even though I have leader qualities, I'd be too afraid to show them.
Date: 11/20/2003 10:24:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    Sorry B monkey, didn't see yours.
Date: 11/20/2003 10:24:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    AS, I would NEVER be able to drive there. I drove around in a friend's car, but I would be a wreck. They literally drive on each other's rears and if you are not moving like 40 people honk at ya!...LOL.
Date: 11/20/2003 10:26:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    My biggest downfall if any would be my mouth! I have the tendency when I get sick of people to just tell em right where to go. But I know I do this so I think I would have a pretty good shot a trying to control it. But I know definately I would be out the day after the disgusting eating challenge. If I made it that far with my mouth, I am out that night cause I gag and dry heave just watching them eat that stuff...LOL
Date: 11/20/2003 10:26:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    AZ, you were first, but I didn't see yours, I checked first, didn't see yours at that point, wrote mine, and yours was already up. But hey Survivor talk is always good. I really miss talking about it, eonline, used to have a feature where you could
Date: 11/20/2003 10:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    I was just thinking! You know near the end, where there are 2 remaining and they have a rememberance of everyone....They are going to have so much Rupert highlights! Everyone else will just be blips! I'm so corny, I always look forward to those montages each season.
Date: 11/20/2003 10:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    unfortunately this means they just killed themselves!
Date: 11/21/2003 4:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 49546    You gonna be mad at me: But i'm so HAPPY he's gone! I didn't want him to go any further...everyone's like he played the game the best and bla bla...this is not a camping trip tis is a game...backstabbing will be there of COURSE...tis is not go camping, play games and la-dee-da...i think he left like his final words :"I wanted this very badly; I needed this very badly. This would have helped my life; this would have helped a lot of people's lives; this would have made my life a lot better. I always get hurt trusting people. Why should this be any different? " i kind of hate the fact he said "i always get hurt" and bla bla bla...did he really tihnk someone would rather want his friendship (a 30 day friendship) over a million dollars?...i mean he would do the same...(i think)...but then..yeah IT'S GAME!...he was outplayed, outwitted and outlasted...sure in real life...he would be liked...but BECUASE of that...he was a threat and thats that!...hmm....no offence to u in whatever i said above, just proving a point about the whole rupert thing, because all i've seen in all the survivor forums i belong to...is how people are gonna quit ewatching survivor because he's gone!...i find that a huge load of *rubbisH* but then that's my opinion...ok ...i better leave it at that...before i say more stuff
Date: 11/21/2003 7:10:00 AM  From Authorid: 40341    I loved Rupert and he totally got shafted by trusting Lil. She lied right to his face and I would never want her representing a scout troup if she lies so easily,I cant stand Jon and I cant wait to see him gone
Date: 11/21/2003 12:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 25756    Lol! Wow, he was my dad's favorite survivor too...that's too bad. I haven't watched survivor at all this season though. But If I did, I think I'd do okay. i wouldn't be the first person off, but I definitly wouldn't win. Probably most likely because I would be so picky about the disgusting food they have to eat! *barfs* :-D
Date: 11/21/2003 4:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 54968    I'm so disappointed to see Rupert go! He's was my favorite! I don't like Lil. She's really greedy.
Date: 11/21/2003 8:23:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 27046    LPF, I understand what you are saying and there is a lot of what you said that I agree with. However what people enjoyed about him is the fact that he would have been able to spend the rest of his life there! He truly did have the skills of logic and work ethic to make it there if he were never to be rescued. He played the REALITY of what the game is supposed to be. If he could have kept the emotional side out of things he probably could have made it through the whole thing. He had a mouth along with a bit of temper and he was just very outright and blunt. I didn't catch the show this morning to see him and his reaction there, but I think that he was just truly shocked that he went. I mean even Sandra was like blown out of the water! He was just really hurt by that cause he didn't see it coming. He is probably watching this now and seeing all the stuff he shouldn't have done....LOL
Date: 11/22/2003 6:53:00 AM  From Authorid: 60395    my fav. person is Jon so im glad ruperts gone. and its war and Lil just picked her destiny.
Date: 11/22/2003 7:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 30051    I was sooooooo upset! I HATE JON!! I hope he gets kicked off. I really wanted Rupert to win:( That is THE lamest thing I have ever seen. He did the most for everyone. I hope they all starve!!!
Date: 11/22/2003 7:54:00 AM  From Authorid: 57830    ah, i hate that show! Ever since the first one! ...gross!
Date: 11/22/2003 10:29:00 AM  From Authorid: 4144    the only one i ever watched (and taped every one) was africa. i had seen a few minutes of the others but didn't really get it. i just watched africa cause big tom was on it and we all know him. i did catch enough of this one to know i would like rupert. i threw a big hissy fit when big tom got voted off too!
Date: 6/1/2008 11:30:00 AM  From Authorid: 63026    i remember rupert. I remember when it first came on back in 1999. How time flies :(
