I don't think Oswald did it...never did think he was soley responsible. Now, I'm convinced he didn't pull the trigger at all and could in no way have done it alone even if he was involved. I believe one of the latest documentaries I heard to be correct. SO much information points to Johnson and the CIA. Too bad none of these people ever were or will be held accountable.  |

If Oswald did it then why does the government want to hide so much of what happened that day? There are reports that will not be released until a generation has passed,....m-m-m-m, sounds fairly "fishy" to me. Personally, I believe more than one man killed Kennedy and the films prove it. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure it out.  |

This comes up every year and now it's 40 years since that fateful day. I think that more than a generation has passed since then. They will never release the truth. He was shot by a paid assassin from the storm drain. The mafia deal with assassinations inside the country and the CIA with assassinations abroad. The 3 shots were fired in order to confuse the 4th shot from the drain (i.e. took people's eyes and ears off the ball). Pres Johnson had the car destroyed shortly after the shooting, before it could be examined. The official photos (years later) showed that the real destruction on the JFK's head had been masked by mortician's wax in order to hide the true trajectory of the bullet which was from below and that is why the back of his head was blown out.  |

There was a whole show on the life of Lee Harvey Oswald last night on tv, I only watched part of it. But enough to know that he was a pretty strange guy. His wife was from Russia, and they thought she might have been a spy also. He was interviewed by the CIA when he came back from Russia with his wife, but then some people say he was interviewed by the CIA serveral more times, but no papers could be found to proove it.  |

Koolade, President Johnson destroyed the car that Kennedy was shot in? Are you sure? How would he have the authority to do that? And where did you hear the idea of his assasin shooting him from a drain? I've never heard of that theory before. But I do remember hearing something about the angle which the bullet went into his head made it impossible for Oswald to be his assasin. Has anyone else heard of this? |

I agree with Koolade. I also saw th program, detailing about how Kennedy was shot from the storm drain, and showed the footage to explain it. It shows Kennedy's head snap backwards, after being shot, which would indicate a frontal impact, not a rear impact. As to having the car destroyed, I haven't heard about that.  |

Yeah i saw that too, but the car is not the one he actually was in when he was shot. If you read the blurb it actually is the same make of car and the same year. The one on display is not a convertable, and it's black. The one he rode in was blue. |

If you go to http://c.barat.free.fr/lincoln/limousine/limo.html you will see that the very same car Kennedy was killed in was rebodied by Johnson, then used by him, Nixon, and Carter before being retired in 1977. It was rebodied to add safety. It was painted black, had the hard top installed, and had enough bulletproof armored plating added to the outside of it that it weighed nearly 10,000 lbs. |

That's an interesting info. If that is true then Johnon was a wierdo driving around in the death car. Like spitting in the face of jfk. I was thinking also about Bobby Kennedy, his brother. No one talks about that one. I tend to think that was also probably a conspiracy also. |

55967, wait, so LBJ actually remodified the car and then used it even though Kennedy was killed in it? I would never use a car somebody had been murdered in. How creepy. Why would he do that? The government should have enough money to make a new car. I would think the car Kennedy was killed in would go to a museum like the Smithsonian or something. And Koolade, if LBJ was a weirdo disrespecting Kennedy then so were Nixon and Carter because apparantly they used the car as well. |

62339 That is so true! But LBJ is the worst one cos he was behind the murder. People like him must have taken a delight in how he got away with it. Nixon was crooked anyway, but I actually liked Carter. Anyway I did read somewhere that he got rid of the car. I wish I could remember where I saw that. I've tried but I can't. Sirhan Sirhan, the guy who stabbed Bobby to death is still alive!!! That is weird too. |

I don't really believe in any of the conspiracy theories. I think Oswald shot JFK for his own reasons, and then Ruby shot Oswalf for his own reasons. Some of the conspiracy theories offer some intriguing arguments, and I have a wide open mind, but I'm still not buying any of them.  |
