The web of the spider confines you
No door and no exit to take
She stalks you so hungry and coldly
Until in a sweat you do wake
You try to break out of her hold
But you cannot reverse her spell
Although you shared more than friendship
The aftermath has put you through hell
In the courts you stood and defied her
With your family and friends close by
You sprayed her with courage and honesty
But the spider still woudn't die
Instead she tries to haunt you
At night time when you're asleep
When your mind is alone and vulnerable
She injects the memories you keep
Now I see the web is cracking
And freedom on the other side
You must break it and cross the line
Only then will the spider have died
