any email that says forward to so many peeps and you will have luck or even chain emails I delete... especially if I see Fwd.Fwd.Fwd on them. Just think you are giving a hacker somewhere out there a nice list of peoples addy's as long as you continue to resend out chain email. I will not argue about the power of prayer though. But Espam I will.  |

I have two e-mail addresses primarily that I use. One for all those people and companies I trust and the other I use for genealogy and those I don't trust. The latter, gets all the SPAM while the other doesn't get any. I have the latter on a website with my family tree and on genealogy message boards so it gets "spidered". I do however trust my genealogy friends. They aren't the ones doing it. |

It means "Blind Copy". It is by where the To: is. See it? It should give you a choice TO:, CC: or BC: |

all spam and chain letters, and forwards and jokes......all of it gets deleted before I ever read it. I just want to scream to people, don't SEND ME this CRAP! I just don't care. I hate spam.  |

oooohhhh i HATE that! it drives me nuts having to scroll through 50 billion forwards before I even get to the message, which usually is like, two lines long and hardly worth the scrolling time. Good post!  |

I did the same too. Had two hotmail accounts and one was entirely junk email the other was clean. Somehow those spammers got my clean email addy and began filling it up. Problem is I never gave my addy out to any comapny or signed up at any website. I think they pulled it from chain letters. |

I was just thinking HB, instead of sending back with a copy, just use "reply all" and put in CAPS "PLEASE REMOVE MY NAME FROM YOUE SPAM MAILING LIST!!! |
