I just feel right now that our marriage is on the rocks. We have been through so much in the past 24 years that we are just burnt out. Our 22 year old son was a drug dealer, we have an autistic son, who can be a blessing at times and a 18 year old daughter who is doing great at college and all, but also has personal issues. Our oldest son has put us thru the ringer. My husband and I do not seem to meet eye to eye on anything. We are like strangers anymore. We are at eachother's throat alot. Since he was laid off from a job that paid over 50,000 a year three years ago, he has been in and out of jobs. I was recently fired from my job that I really liked, but there was politics involved, and I was the odd girl out. We are in dire straits as far as finances. We have been through so much in the past years or so. I am now facing a breast biopsy to check to make sure it is not cancer, which I hope it isn't. In the middle of all this, I seem to be the only one looking for a job. My husband seems to look for any kind of excuse for turning down a job. Nothing seems to be going right at all, and that our whole family seems to be falling apart. I am basically an optimist, and my husband is pessimistic. He is not romantic at all, and I am. In fact he has not shown any kind of affection except for just sex. Actually he has never been a romantic type, and that always bothered me. I am. I just feel our marriage is headed for disaster right now. And to tell you the truth, I just don't care anymore, nor do I feel I love him anymore. I am just going through the motions, that's all. Nothing seems like it goes right for us at all. There is always some kind of glitch. My birthdate is 12/12/52 and his is 10/29/49. Our names are Jean and Tom. I just am basically very unhappy right now. And feel very hopeless. Can any of you give me any feed back, because I am so tired of problems and that seems to be all we have in the past 24 years.
