Good Luck! I had my daughter at exactly 34 weeks. I went into preterm labor at 32 weeks, they gave me brethine to stop the contractions, and by 34 weeks my blood pressure was 200/150 and i had developed preeclampsia and toxemia. They did an emergency c-section and she was born a healthy 6lbs 6oz! She was in the NICU for 3 days after i went home becuase she had Jaundice, but that was easily taen care of. They told me that at that premature age, that is not so abnormal. Now she is 9 months old and weighs 25 pounds! Good Luck! I know everything will be ok! I was wondering where you have been hon. You definately have my thoughts and prayers. God be with you and your little girl honey. I had my second child at 33 weeks and he was 5.9 oz..I couldnt imagine how much he would have weighed had he gone full term..LOL..he had some minor problems but was home within five days of birth! Prayer worked for him and it will work for you as well! *hugs*  |

Try not to worry too much, my eldest was born at 32 weeks, he was 4lb 15oz. He spent a week in the SCBU but is now 16 years old and well over 6' tall. He didn't suffer any problems as a baby and his early arrival doesn't seem to have affected him at all. Good luck I'll keep you in my thoughts....hugggss  |
