hey Ginny, Tegan would know all about these animals....lol!!! the best ones to have around are the stuffed ones!! mum has a large one and its baby....that sit on her bed lol!!!! I have nursed the babies and they are so cute, but I wouldn't even to attempt to touch an adult wombat...lol!!! ![]() |

well Moonie, the council will dig down about 3 feet down with wire fencing, around the whole perimeter of the cemetary, upon placing the wire down that deep, they will then sprinkle NAPTHALENE FLAKES into the soil, and the wombats hate the smell of it, so hopefully it will work, but I imagine that they will keep a close eye on the whole programme to see that it does work, it should do though....thanks hun for your reply....hugs Grammy ![]() |

thanks Penny, they eat roots of shrubs and trees, leaves of certain plants and the grubs and insects under the ground, thats why they burrow down in the earth, I suppose they think that seeing that they have to burrow down for food, they might as well make it home for the family....gross thoughts just the same in a cemetary!!!! hugs ![]() |
