Sorry hon, I feel your pain [I never had money growning up -- never got to go for the piece of za after the game <actually, never even got to go to the games>]. How far are you from being 15? Can you do extra work for your parents to earn extra cash? or how 'bout babysitting? That's what I did as a teen who couldn't work. Scall |

You know what I did when I was a frosh? I worked for the school. That's right. I worked in the cafeteria twice a day, every day. $166 a week. You could check into your school and see if they hire students for certain jobs. That way: it would be impossible to interfere with school! |

I did a lot of babysitting when I was your age. I also did odd jobs for family and neighbors-- like raking, washing cars, etc. |

I babysat a lot when I was your age, I had a paper route starting in the 5th grade. I was one of the few 5th graders walking around with money in my pocket. Delivering papers was fun (I did it on my bike and made it a game to throw the paper and hit my target), I hated collecting money though. At christmas time it was worth it with all the tips and presents I got. If you have snow, offer to shovel walks for a fee. |

If you need to be certified, call your local Red Cross and see if they offer classes. That is where my daughter got her babysitting certification. |

I am gonna work in my moms company this summer n over christmas vaca next year to "get my name known" so I might end up working there. I dunno yet. :-/ Thanx guys! *huggs* |
