Have you ever felt lost
Or wait...no, more like homesick
There is a whole world out there to explore
To see come to life, right before your very eyes
Yet, time just won't allow you to be free
Have you ever had a vision
A grand feeling, as if you had a mission
Yet, you just don't know where to begin
Do you sometimes dream
Pretend as if the world relied on you,
And you alone
Yet, in reality, you feel so small
Do you find yourself wishing
Praying for life to unfold before you
To make your path clear
Yet, no one is listening
Do you see the world changing
By the work of your hands
Through your tears, your compassion
Yet, no one will give you a chance
I often feel this way
But I also tell myself
If I gave up that easy, then without ever starting
The journey would be over....
The less taken path is harder
But our trials and triumphs over hardship
Will lead us through
And although it starts as a dream
It takes only one true heart
To change the world
