Well, I believe in time travel 100 %. but I only think it's possible on lay line son the earth (those are were the strong points of the earths energies) Places liek stonehenge were built on these lines. |

you should do a little more research. look into thinks like quantum theory, and pretty much anything that hawkings or einstein has ever said. this article might help things make sense to you http://www.kurzweilai.net/meme/frame.html?main=/articles/art0585.html |

current science says that time travel is impossible. keep in mind that time doesnt exist, its a human creation, an abstract. there is no past and there is no future, its not a linear thing. but, if there are multiple dimensions it might be possible to traverse them and go to slightly seperate worlds where things are 99.9 percent identical to your home dimension. i know it sounds crazy, but if you read into it, it might make more sense to you. hawkings is a very intelligent person. he basically describes how it could be done and then says that its impossible. you might want to read the universe in a nutshell sometime too. good read |

Hmmmmmmmmmmm Beam me up Scotty.....if the idea of quantum physics were to come to pass and the elemental particles of individuals could start to be manipulated from one time universe to another....imagine the collisions.....it would have to be such a precise science that error could not even enter into the realm of possibilities. So even though I seen this outside the scope of reality.....lets play what if....so my own theory would be an mathematically correct container into which the elemental particles of a person were infused would then be flung through an appropriate device to the designated time universe based upon precisely correct chronographic, geographic, and mathematical calculations. Thanks for letting me metacognate upon such a metocognition as this. |

Oh.... the device....upon arriving at the most perfect designation has instrumentation that then releases the elements inside in proper sequence to reform the individual it represents but the individual is of physcial stature and age as to when the particles were infused. |

You're dead on Dagon. Other universes do exist and I have proved it to myself through meditation and OBEs. Some universes parrallel the one we're in with some slight changes. One in particular has not developed the combustion engine. Other dimensions are pretty bizarre and difficult to describe. The wierd thing is that these dimensions take up no more space than this one. It is like different frequency ranges rather than changes in space and time. In other words, these worlds overlap ours. We enter these different dimensions in our dream state too. In order to travel in the physical we would have to find a way of changing the frequency of physical matter. Great post! |

Thank you Dagon, I had heard that time was an abstract consept made by humans to record the passing of time. I had completely forgot that when I wrote this. Wise, thank you also for your metacognition. It will give me something to think about. Koolade, althought I am skeptical about OBEs I cannot and will not say that you are wrong. I have actually tried to have an OBE myself and had no luck. Maybe I don't have the patience or can't concentrate, but until I can prove it to myself that it is possible I can't fully believe that it is possible. |

Thanks Universal Traveller. With a name like that you maybe ought to persevere with astral projection which is the proper term for it. The first time it happened to me it was a sheer fluke. But now I regularly make trips out. It just adds more to life. The greatest obstacle is fear of the unknown. Anyway it doesn't matter if people are skeptical... I mean heck I am skeptical about some things now, and I would have been about this had I not experienced it. Just keep an open mind and be open to possibilities which I think you are, going by this post. Cheers |
