ever felt angry because you took in excess calories for the day?

right now I feel like doing cardio excericises for two hours. I just ate a meal with a lot of grease and meat to it (it wasn't my idea, the meal was bought for me) and I just want to burn it off tonight. I'm not going to eat dinner, that was lunch. I've had enough calories for one day. if only it's sunny around here, or if only I have a treadmill. now I have to shadow box for an hour, but that's okay because shadow boxing is fun when combined with shadow-martial arts.

so people, what do YOU do to burn off excess calories you ate?

I wouldn't say I have a fast metabolism but I work out (occasionally) I'm a lazy person. But I think you can eat what you want as long as you exercise. Also, eating spicy foods raises your metabolism and I eat bunches of those

If i eat anything that has WAY too many calories in it, i'm doing one of my tapes for a while. I usually do that or i go up to the gym.. but my car's in the shop.. so that's hard to do. I would say if you don't have any tapes or what not.. just either bundle up and go for a walk.. or dance (your own lil dance.. i always make mine up as i go lol). There's also sites you can go on to get some ideas of physical things you can do.. just search up exercise moves. Good luck.. and don't feel too bad about your meal.. you won't gain anything for 1 slip. Sounds ironic coming from me, i know..lol. Good luck.  
Date: 1/31/2004 3:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 62184    And doing cardio for 2 hours isn't worth it.. at least 30 minutes is fine. I've done that guilt trip then exercised for longer than needed and i payed for it by being so weak.. i could've fallen over.

I like going on the treadmills, stairmaster and bikes at the gym. Or I will walk for at least a mile and half a day outside. I have some videos that I own incase I don't get around to the gym or when I don't get around walking.  
Date: 2/1/2004 6:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 20956    going for a nice long walk is great if you've over eaten and feel full and bloated. drinks lots of water too. i wouldnt advise you skip meals though because it slows down your metabolism. just eat a light, healthy meal such as a chicken salad or some fruit
