Hmm..well, my mother said that when I went in for some check-up as a baby, I did something weird of different that caused the doctor to say," This baby girl has personality...hmm." Haha...that's all I know.  |

I've been lead to believe that babies are born with a "clean slate", and it determines the genes of the parents and how the parents treat the child which leads to their personality. >>Bageera<<  |

I think it may be somewhat genetic, because people are born with "talents" like singing or dancing and we see that passed on to children sometimes, so maybe things like having a temper or being real laid back can be passed on too! I believe that we are born with the blueprint for a particular kind of personality, but nature and nurture combine to shape it. There are some who say that we choose the families that we are born into so that we can learn from the experiences they give us. For example, if our spirit wishes to experience povert, or handicap in order to learn and give others (our family) an opportunity to learn. I feel drawn to that way of thinking.  |
