Oh my gosh! I've been wanting to write something with that title FORVER and I could never get it started... SO.. I finally did it.. :D It's not that great, but I still think it's decent. This is the first song that I've meant to be a SONG. The rest of my songs were poems my friend wrote music to therefore turning it into a song.. lol.. so here it is:
"Lies Behind Her Eyes"

Verse One:
Forced smiles,
Can’t hide the anger in her eyes.
A blank stare,
Won’t hide what everyone knows is there.
Temporary escapes,
They cause glassy glares.
But when she’s down from her high,
Its back to her daily despairs.
Chorus:
The lies behind her eyes are deeper than even she knows.
The harder she tries to hide them,
The more oblivious she becomes to the world around her.
I wish I could see the truth to the lies behind her eyes.
Verse Two:
Eye contact,
It’s out of the question.
She’s hiding her secrets,
But not being very secretive.
The look in her eyes is desperate,
Her eyes are begging me for help,
But I don’t know what I can do.

She can’t look at herself in the mirror anymore.
