A mother is an angel in disquise
Sweet, and always has a kind word
Followed by that heart-warming smile
A mother cared for us, nurtured us
Awaited patiently, for the day we would be born
She bought all kinds of cute outfits, toys, and blankets
To keep baby warm,
A mother risked herself, beared her soul
Baby was born,
A mother held us, each time we cried
A mother played with us, laughter
A mother scolded us, when we got into trouble
A mother loved us, as we slept safe and sound, throughout the night
A mother took care of us through sickness
She held our hands, taught us how to walk
She clapped and celebrated our first words,
She cried, the first time we left for school
She was proud, with each acheivement we made
A mother combed our hair,
Dressed us nice,
Packed our lunch,
Waited for the bus outside
A mother, even though a life force of her own
Gives her all, to ensure us, a better tomorrow
She protects us, guards us
She ensures us in times of doubt,
Holds us, throughout our tears and shouts
There are so many countless wonderful things
Each mother does, that is taken for granted
But without them, without that love
That compassion, kindness
Without the encouragement, and strength
Without the tears and hard work.....
We wouldn't have gotten very far
For God knew he could entrust these special women,
With His most precious children,
God knew,
Because they called them, mother
})i({ I dedicate this poem to all those moms out there! God Bless you for all that you do and hang in there, good deeds and great love never go unnoticed! In honor of "Beautiful Women Month" this is for all the mothers out there....thank you!
