on my last post "the rapture" i see that i may need to explain what it is, so here goes. the rapture is a time that should not be that far away, when jesus comes back, and collects the christians, and thos who believe in, and are faithful to him, and take them to heaven. this will be one event that nobody could ignore because the people who are taken to heaven will be taken in bodily form, like the ascension of jesus into heaven, an example would be "you are talking to a friend that is a believer and you are having a nice chat, then they just disapear in mid-sentence", alot of people believe that this will happen before the tribulation( i am one of them) and some think that it will happen after, for those who think that it will be after the rapture, i would like to give you my point of view on it, the way i see it is, that jesus does not want the christians on earth to suffer through what is going to happen durring the tribulation, some examples are: the oceans turn to blood, a worldwide earthquake, two comets, plagues of boils, and the anitchrist his or herself. alot of people wonder why god would do this to mankind, my belief is that he will do it to try to get peoples attention to try to get them to take the second chance he is giving them to turn to him and his son jesus. this is going to be a longer post than i thought so bear with me a while. alot of peole dont know what the tribulation is, so i will explain the best i can, it is supposed to start when the antichrist sighns a seven year peace agreement with isreal, later on he will break it by defiling the temple mount by spilling the blood of a pig in the rebuilt temple. some time during the tribulation he will be assasinated, killed by a wound to the head, and 3 days later satan will occupy his body, and he will rise one earth. all of these arent in order,i'm going by memory mostly, after satan takes over his body he will try to get people to take his mark(by then god will have marked the believers on earth so they will not be hurt by his judgments)if the people do not want the antichrists mark they will be executed immediately, the mark would be given on the forhead or right hand, same as the mak of god, but the mark of god will only be seen, by believers, and the angels of god.another thing that will happen is that later into the tribulation the jews after seeing their temple defiled by the antichrist will be led to a place where they cannot be harmed, their clothing will not wear out, and the will have food, and water from god all in that one place, most people believe that the place will be the ancient city of petra, but i dont know for sure, the bible also says that as the jews flee from the antichrist he will send enemies against them, but god will open the earth to devour them. i know that i am skipping around alot, and i appologize, but i do not know the exact order of all of this. most of you might wonder that when the rapture comes is that your last chance, but it is not, the period after, when god sends his judments on earth will be the last chance to repent, and follow christ, it also says in the bible that if you refuse the mark of the beast for the sake of jesus you will be saved. my fingers are getting tired now, so i would love to answer any questions you might have here or on my e-mail that i will put under the "changed my life" thing. i would appriciate peplies, your oppinions, and any questions you might have. god bless!!
