I've read it on the internet few times and I might be wrong, but if you're out in the distant country and in the wooded area, I'd say a Bigfoot. I read in an article that the folks who live in villages up high in the Himalayas Mountain heard a high piercing screams. Including these who heard were the American mountaineers who also found footprints of "Yeti". |

On Discovery Channel last week, there was a mighty show about American Bigfoot. It also showed a few film footages of Bigfoot caught on film during the plain daytime. One witness who caught it on camera described the sound heard from the Bigfoot as a low pitched "breathy growl" or charloting (mispelling). |

Maybe it could have been a bigfoot. I hadn't heard those sounds before a week ago and I have lived here since September. |

It could have been a banshee, or maybe a Black Rider? Sorry, I'm lost in my own fantasy world. Sounds spooky though. I remember hearing strange "screams" when I was camping in northern Minnesota. Someone told us they were bears, but I kind of doubted it. |

Rabbits can scream , its hard to explain but its very high pitched. I know because once my rabbit got out and was being played with (not hurt) by my dog who wanted to play with her. The bunny got scared and let out this weird cry. Maybe sorta like a high pitched baby cry almost. All I can say is its very weird. So who knows what made that scream.
