Sometimes formatting the Harddrive will get rid of a Virus if you don't have anti-virus software. But I would suggest trying Anti-Virus Software first, ie Nortor or McAfee. |

Why not do an online virus scan and then see if you can download a fix. www.symantec.com is a good place to find the removal tools you might need. |

Alright, right after I made this post, I downloaded a trial version of Norton AntiVirus 2004. It just finished scanning my computer and it detected 309 different viruses on the computer. |

I had an AIM virus on my computer before, but it was on my profile thing, it said "looooool go checcccckkk this ouuuut!" or something, lol the person could not spell at all, whoever made it.
Anywho, I got rid of it by clicking on the link and it brought up three windows. THe first one was an ad, the second was the site the link brought you to, and the third was how to get rid of the ad thing. I don't know if that will work in your case because they're in different areas, but give it a try! |

I used Norton and then took Zookeeper's advice and used Grisoft as well. Hopefully the computer will last a little while longer now. Thank you all for your replies. |
