A Hymn to Cthulhu
In his watery tomb he awaits awakening A return of the elder king He shall sleep no more When the stars align The hour glass will shatter You will have no time
Bowing to him on the hilltop The altars made of stone Chanting his name in the swamp Our mind and souls have gone
We shall serve the great old one When the stars are right He will rise with the sun He will conquer by the moon
Ia, Ia, Cthulhu Fhtagn! He will come from his house at R’lyeh He and the elder gods!
Yog-Sothoth “Yog-Sothoth knows the gate” “Yog-Sothoth is the gate” “Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate”
Shub-Niggurath Ia! Shub-Niggurath! “The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young!”
The old ones will rise Bring forth your demise Bow to the altar So you may see the end All non-believers will be used to begin Swallowed by the monster Cthulhu!
He will awake His throne he will take His name you not speak His idol you keep! Ia, Ia, Cthulhu fhtagn!
