Hi ...I used to think like that a lot, and dreaded doing my homework but I found that school isn't just about grades, it really is about learning. You will find as you go through your educational career, there will be a teacher or two who really stick out, because they are different, because they really care, and because they really teach. Through many subjects you can develop life skills, trust me! (lol I know, it took me a long time to figure this out) there the literature you are shown, to learn to solve problems, to learning about current events, to class discussions. It all helps develop who you are and will become. There was a quote I found and it goes something like this, "Have big dreams, but remember the little ambitions are just as important" which meant to me, yes there are bigger things than homework- but its the little things that count the most, and are most valuable. It pays off, you will see in time Goodluck! And I took a Creative Writing class and it was so much fun! You do writings, songs, poems, short stories all kinds of things. It's a great class, enjoy! |
