I've done this before and it works well, except my cat has a thing for plants and he wouldn't go in the litter box until he'd managed to eat just about every morsel of the herbs out of the box....ewwww  |

My cats are finicky about their litter as it is. I don't know how they would take this. I can't use litter that any scent in it. My cats would gladly eat the herbs but I am not sure how they would like them in their litter box. Thanks for the idea.  |

Thanks this sound like a good idea. I also put carpet freshener in my litter box. I just use the kind that is pet safe and it doen't bother them one bit. I do know that cats are all different so if anyone tries this, they may want to test to see if the cat likes it or is allergic to it before putting it all over the liter box.
