Thinking of calling this "Cloud Filled Candyfloss"
The world is cold and harsh, my dear, So many things to hate and fear, Some people die, so others cry, But don’t worry; I’ll always be near,
Life is long and lonely, my heart, So many things finish, so very few start, It will get too much, all happen in a rush, But I will be there; we’ll never be apart,
I know I try but it just never works, I try to love you; all I do is hurt, I want to protect you from all the world’s harms, But I squeeze too tight when you are in my arms,
I’ll fly to you on rainbow wings, Take you to where songbirds sing, Feed you cloud filled candyfloss, And snow cakes covered in sunshine gloss, I’ll take your hand and walk with you, We’ll watch the sunrise and sunset too, I’ll take you to the angels’ home, So that you’ll never be alone, And if I ever I’ll slip away, You’ll be better without me anyway…
Things just never go right, sweetie, From hate and malice I want you to be free, Things are no longer fun, and there is no sun, But if it means something, you’ll always have me
When life gets too much you want someone to blame, Blame it on me, again and again, And then my star, you will go too far, But I’ll forgive you; it will be the same,
I’ll always try, it’ll never work, When I try to love you; all I’ll do is hurt, I want to protect you from all the world’s harms, Don’t let me squeeze too tight when you’re in my arms,
I’ll fly to you on rainbow wings, Take you to where songbirds sing, Feed you cloud filled candyfloss, And snow cakes covered in sunshine gloss, I’ll take your hand and walk with you, We’ll watch the sunrise and sunset too, I’ll take you to the angels’ home, So that you’ll never be alone, And if I ever I’ll slip away, You’ll be better without me anyway…
And one day when it’s quiet and dark, And we’re so close together you can hear my heart, You’ll tell me your problems; I’ll know what to say, It won’t help, but you’ll feel better anyway, For once, on that night, I will get it right, And we’ll cuddle and kiss until morning light
