It was dark and merely quiet The stars came out to say goodnight I made camp one last time alone To continue on at morning light
I barely slept a wink at all Afraid of the beetles that crawl I had sand burried into my eye When I awoke to see the morning sky
I set off into the hills afar In search of the temple of Scar I imagined how this man would look I arrived at the village and in I snook
There were men and women walking around And snake charmers setting on the ground People with their junky trinkets to buy I heard a man bribe a woman with a lie
I stopped and stood at the rug cart I asked the owner where I could find Scar He told me where from finish to start Then he mumbled "you'll never defeat Scar!"
I put my back to the blazing sun Walking past a few blocks or two Then I came to a well established temple That was golden and painted blue
I went to the door and gave it a knock Then out came a man with expensive clothes A well cut beard that hung from his face And golden rings on all of his toes
He gave me a snarl and glared at my face Then he said "Traveler, who sent you to my place?"
It was the mighty ruler from the Arabic lands I traveled far across these heated sands
He looked at my sword and then he laughed "A duel I see?You must want the lamp of magic." "It's just too bad you'll be dead when I'm through, (laughing loudly) OH HOW TRAGIC!!!"
