My daughter and I went and watched this movie and we were both very disappointed! I'm wondering if anyone else felt the same...? It looked like it would be great from the previews.

Date: 3/21/2004 8:44:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 46682    I thought that it was going to be about something like a parallel (sp?) universe or at least supernatual but it was more like a suspense.
Date: 3/21/2004 8:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 28193    Oh,Ok..I don't like that either, when they advertise it to sound like it has a whole other meaning, or topic.
Date: 3/21/2004 10:28:00 PM  From Authorid: 43807    My friends totally loved it. They saw it twice.
Date: 3/22/2004 1:59:00 AM  From Authorid: 10722    I loved it, especially the major twist in the end.
Date: 3/22/2004 6:40:00 AM  From Authorid: 30097    I saw Secret Window yesterday (Sunday). Now, being who i am, i wouldn't be caught dead in that type of movie, but it was the only one both my friend and i hadn't seen. It was good...interesting. As an avid writer, i know the plot rules and what not. While laid out to understanding in the beginning, it became much too twisted and turny. It's a good thing sometimes, but i felt that the plot was lost under other aspects...won't say anymore to give it away. Love
Date: 3/22/2004 3:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 48858    All I have to say is that if you saw Identity with John Cusack, you would think it does not compare. I mean, the endings do, but Secret Window was a more sloppy second. I was highly disappointed too.
Date: 3/25/2004 2:43:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 46682    Thanks everyone for your replies! I totally agree with what what said about the movie "Identity". I thought that one was great!
Date: 4/3/2004 8:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 54968    I haven't seen it yet but I really wanna!
Date: 6/20/2004 11:32:00 AM  From Authorid: 62095    I think that we just expected something different and got our hopes all up (you know how we love supernatual movies and this wasnt really one of em). I am sure if we watched it again we would probably appreciate it more. luv ya
Date: 9/10/2006 9:45:00 AM  From Authorid: 51292    I was a bit dissapointed with it to..it really wasnt what I thought it would be. The ending was pretty good but I just thought the movie was a little boring. Im still a big Johnny Depp and Stephen King fan though lol. :(
