gosh i havent made a post in MONTHS*L*
As punkstarchic posted earlier, she came up here to visit me on thursday! she went home today we were VERY fortunate the weather behaved for us!
in the about 5 days she was here we shot off 3 rolls of film wandered around the cemetary, Royal Roads/Hatley castle(the one featured in the X-men movies) Drove along the victoria waterfront, checked out a few malls did some wandering through the tourist district and market square, saw a man juggle fire and blow a huge 6ft flame from his mouth(that was intersting!!) did a bunch of wedding prep stuff,saw LOTR return of the king, helped her make a veil, set her up with a wedding notebook(so she can finally get her butt on those wedding plans!!) and we each made a pair of fairy wings!!
Today unfortunately she had to go home, toteing a HUGE bag, a backpack, and of course a pair of fairy wings through downtown and off to the ferry, but before she boarded the boat we made a quick wander through the legislature building and saw all the stained glasswork and the building fairy wings and all*L* though we were politely asked not to fly around in the building*LOL*
she did make one noteable comment about victoria though she said "it's soo clean!" i guess it is compared to some of the places in the states
