Memories

You may never know
How much I loved
Or how much I cared
You are my heart, my soul
I love you Grandpa Bob
I hope you know
How much I cared
Thorough thick and thin
You were there

I loved your jokes
I loved your shirts
I loved your mind
I loved spending time
With you

I remember everything
From the night you passed
I was at a jazz festival
Having much fun
And was invited
To Cody’s house
I said no
For I had a bad feeling
So after the festival
I went home
Went to sleep
And was woken up
Mommy cried
And they told me
That you had died
The next day
They were off
And Diana and I came two days later
To Florida

And then, the funeral
Touched all our hearts
Especially when
They played taps
Now a month has passed
And I can’t forget
How much I love you

Ich liebe du
Ich Hoffnung du kennst
Wie viel
Ich vermissen du.

I sent this to a poetry contest. I wrote it yesterday. ^_^
