get some flour and put it on his paw so it can cake in... that happened to my rat once... put alot of it. hold it by the skin on it;s neck and he'll stop squirming or wrap him in a towel. you can also call a vet and ask for advice.:)  |

try and stop the bleeding, though i know what rabbits are like and they dont tend to sit still for that long. good luck :)  |

put cornstarch where it is bleeding, it stops the blood, and call the vet right away.  |

If you father doesn't have a styptic (sp) pencil, stick the whole foot in flour and keep tabbing it on the part that is bleeding until it clots. If you father does have a styptic pencil, grind it up as tiny as possible and rub this on the wound. It will stop the bleeding. They make this styptic powder that you can get at pet stores just for this type of thing. I used it on my parrots when I clipped a nail to deep and nipped a vein. Hope everything turns out okay. omg that happened to my rabbit too! It just got too long. DOn't worry it'll stop bleeding. Most likely the rabbit will lick its paw to clean it out.  |
