Hey guys, I do not know if I will get much help on this right now since it is getting late, but I need some help with my homework. I have Algebra which I only need help on one problem, and some Spansih. I am not sure if I can post the Spanish on here, since we are not allowed too, so if someone might be able to help, could you msg me, and I will give you a sn for a msg'r and I will greatly appreciate it!

Algebra: We are doing Adding-Subtracting, and Multiplying Radicals, I got an answer but I am not sure if it is correct.

Problem: (3(radical sign)c-8+ 4(radical sign)c)2...that is squared. The c-8 is all under a radical sign, then the c is under the radical sign. Sorry if this is confusing, but I do not have the propper tools to type this with. If you do not know what a radical sign is, it is like the same as a square root sign.

For the answer i got

42c(2-squared) (radical sign)4+16c

Date: 3/22/2004 9:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 22188    Alright, it's been A LONG time since I've used my algebra skills, but I THINK I've got an answer for you...see, when you square a radical, you're really just taking it away..because you're squaring a square root. So after you distribute the square, you come up with [9(c-8)+16c] which eventually simplifies to 15c-72....Now I could be totally wrong, but I THINK that's the correct answer....and it's been even longer since I've spoken any Spanish, but what exactly were you having problems with?
Date: 3/22/2004 10:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 20956    oh mannn! trust me, when it comes to this i would only do you more harm than good by trying to help you! so i'll just wish ya luck instead!! :)
