Fly - By Shazy   Author:  56913  Category:(Poetry) Created:(3/23/2004 11:11:00 AM) This post has been Viewed (323 times) Once upon a fairy tale With daisy in her chesnut hair Smiling faces all around Rose petals on the ground But one little fairy With wings of pink Wishes she was merry Wishes she wouldn't think Nightmares screaming in her head Her poor dreams, left in dread Pulling the beads off her dress Wilted Fairy, you're a mess! Dear tears, don't fall Please tears, don't crawl Out of my eyes, and down my cheek I don't want to look like a freak My broken wings, I want to mend Upon a friend, I couldn't depend I cry upon my dead mushroom As dead as me...I shall die soon All this pressure, all this pain My happiness, I try to gain I'm sorry, Momma, I'm not perfect I'm just a little fairy reject Daddy, I shall try my best But I can't put myself Above the rest.. My heart aches, and aches My feelings over-takes The tumping of my heart Oh, the sound it makes.. The velocity as it races I see the smiling faces As I cry..and cry away.. Here, I shall not stay I spread my wings and try to fly I succeed, I'm finally in the sky Above the clouds, I hide alone Now this is, my new home.. I wish that fairy tales do exist I wish that it wasn't just a myth But you know this fairy tale of my own Is stoning my heart, in a tomb stone My wings are still broken It's still not mending I was flying in my dreams Wishing for a happy ending...
