My story is simple... A simple person with a simple stroy to tell! I love to write poetry, most of my stuff on here is poetry... Anyways, I think of my talent for writing as a gift from God, so thats where the Heavenly came from. And since I love to write poetry, thats where Poet came from. Put them together and you get, "Heavenly Poet" |

Aha, I thought you all had good stories to go with your names! It also makes me realize how much we identify with our names as a way to show who we are. We have our birth names chosen by someone else, but we really want to have our own identity, chosen by us. Don't know if that made sense.... Thanks for your comments and stories! |

That's interesting, Miss Priss! I just saw a show on network TV (like 20/20 or 48 Hours--one of those shows) about similar transitions that people were making, and it was amazing what they were going through--the courage they showed, etc.. I hope your fellow construction workers were pretty cool about it. |

Canoe, one things for sure, we go through more things in life than most people can even imagine. I have had to live a life that very few people can even comprehend. A lot of people tell me it took courage to go through what I went through. Maybe so, but I think it is an overwhelming desire to live and be free. For a person, such as myself, to ever get a life, we must first live through one. A lot of us never make it and fall victim to suicide. Oh, those co-workers, they didnt understand it to start with, but as time went on, they tolerant and more accepting. Today, I have no problems with anyone. Much love to you and may your blessings be many. Donna (((Huggzz))) |

I was leaving a club one night, and was backing up, and my foot slipped off the clutch, causing the truck to go back further than I intended, and it hit part of the building. The people in there started calling me "Crash" and I liked it, so I kept it. The skull, well, that's a LONG story, and its basically used to mess with closed minded people. Works well, too:p |

I loved that movie GIA! HAHA anyway. My real name is Kendrick and i Prince Kendrick is birth. My family came from Luxembourg and my great great great great grandfather on my fathers side was the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, which is considered a King. Well, if my family would have stayed there in Lux. then i would be a prince, and heir to the throne. Well that didnt happen so therefore Prince Kendrick is stuck with me and will always be stuck there. Birth title that i probably will never take effect. |

Drkptrs, I thought it stood for Dirk or Dark and that it had something to with the spider in your tag! I just realized that I should have also asked people to tell why they have the tag picture that they do. Mine is simple: a canoe in a lake. Smokin'Joe, just about everyone in my family smoked except for me. I tried it when I was 18 and was working as a bartender (back when the drinking age was 18). I smoked for about a month, but it didn't agree with me at all, so I quit. (I kept waking up every morning and crinkling up the pack of cigarettes that I bought the night before.) My parents even encouraged me to smoke, but I refused! (I'm kidding about that last part...) |

Thanks for all your answers! Devil's Road, I've read a lot of Anne Rice books, too, and remember that term. Her vampires struggle with the issues of good and evil just like humans do, which makes them pretty interesting characters. Social Slacker, that name could describe me sometimes! Peridot Cat, I learn something new all the time. I thought I knew all the birthstones, but I had never heard of peridot before, and I don't know what it looks like. Is that the small object in your tag? I grew up with a million cats (slight exaggeration), so I can relate to that. And Thinker, your posts and comments always sound well-thought-out, and they always make me think! I like the Liberty for All part of your tag, too. |
