Woke up tired from restless dreams.
Sunlight replaces dark of night.
What meaning to unconcious themes?
Little sleep from foes and fight.
Terror attacks the mind at rest.
Dear ones targeted as prey.
Nightmares wear horrorifying dress.
Torment until the light of day.
No sense in the perils of the dark.
Unconcious, yet not in ream.
Light hidden without even a spark.
A battle in nightmares dream.
Time stilled to give darkness aid.
Battle's outcome shadowed by doubt.
Combat forces foes to fade.
Gasping for air I see them route.
My eyes open wide and reality rushes in.
Feet hit the floor to silence the alarm.
Not sure exactly where I had been.
The sun showed I was safe from harm.
Know that I fought very well.
Dear ones were saved from foes.
How I won I cannot tell.
It ends when the rooster crows.
