Ummm, do you have a job? If so, maybe you should offer to pay rent or something, that way he will see you are responsible and need to be independant. If that doesn't work, I say get a small effiviency :) It may sound harsh, but you are of age, and you are legally entitled to have your own place.

if i walk home from school after 4:30 p.m i get grounded. if i go to my friends and call for a ride after school i get grounded, if i dont say "hey im going to use the phone" (even if they call me i get grounded... If i say anything other than "hello" when i answer the phone i get grounded... yours are worst though  |

I just quit my job so I have no money. But if I did I would not give it to my parents instead I would move out. I could move in w/ my boyfriend, but I want to wait until I graduate. I have a friend that moved in with his girlfriend his senior year and he found it very hard to go to school....  |

I agree that I'm too old to be grounded at 18. tell my parents. I don't have much say though, since I live at their house. I guess I could rebel and just go out anyways...but I think that would probably make things harder on me. |
