All of that is just soooooo true! LOL! And, for some reason, women just Always want to look different than they do. My hair, when I was younger, was a bright auburn color, darker than Dewdrops. I was kind of lucky that the freckles more or less faded from my face (except if I stayed in the sun to long, so I had very very white skin (Moonpriestess is my daughter, and her skin much like mine at that age). So, naturally, all I ever wanted was to be tan. So, I could go and burn up, which I did many many times in my life with 2nd degree burns (the last time was age 44, and I almost died of sun poisoning), or fake tan. Now, my hair is a much more subdued, faded colour, and I so wish I could a nice beautiful golden colour that would look so pretty with it. But, alas, fake tans are SOOOO Much Trouble! If anyone knows a great tanning product that lasts really good, and is a nice colour/hue, please let me know about it. And, yea, shaving and sluffing just takes it right off!!! Love and Light |

I'm naturally light tan but I would like to be darker in some areas. I went tanning before in those tanning beds and I didn't like them too much...burnt my butt pretty good...LOL! |

LOL I Like all these....Will I've tried the tanning bed and I do get really dark... but burn the first time *lol* have to look like a french fry before you can get a golden tan...but I have been to the salon that has the new spray on tan...it lasts about a week...but you really have to dryvery well or it will get on your clothing...they tell you to wear loose clothing when you go...but there is One drawback....you look really dark with this type method...but maybe it is because I naturally get dark in the Summer anyway....but one thing about it you won't bake you're skin...salons are beginning to catch on to this new idea and method....T/C..... |

Yeah some of them can get kind of dark and its tricky enough to try and apply in the first place! I have the foam and the first time I used it was all splotchy I looked like I had that skin disease and ugh yellow and patchy it was awful! Mrs. Strider I did too but lol the tans are supposed to last a few weeks before reappyling and if you cant shave or exfoliate between then it gets really hairy...literally LOL! |

Ky-Bluebird, I bet I look like your Mom! LOL! There are 3 results of my tryinig to get a real tan! 1.I burn it, it all peels off, and I am ghosty again! 2. I go out or go to a tanning salon (which was really best) and I come out a nice dark peachy/pink (but you can really see pinkness; it is litke I think I look so tan and everyone else asked me if I sunburned, LOL)but within 2 daysm, it has faded totally and ghost/toasty again! or 3, The creams and sprays=they don't last long either. Can you tell me about how much the once-a-week spray tan places cost? ANd if you have a dry patch, like knees, andles, elbows, do they go darker? Thanks you bunches Love and Light |

I tried a tan in a bottle once. it looked good but i felt so dirty. about your face. i'd try skipping the tanner on your face and using a bronzer powder blush of some sort. thats what i do to make my face look more tan. it works well ~Charmed One~ |
