I need a guy's opinion........  Category:(Serious Advice) Created:(4/3/2004 4:05:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (2243 times) OK here it goes......I'm a senior in high school and I've known this kid since fourth grade. I've always liked this kid because I knew he was nice and he never made fun of anyone and he was more mature than the other boys at school. It wasn't until this year that I realized this guy was the type of guy I had been searching for my whole life. I feel so stupid I can't belive I didn't realize it earlier but this year was the first time that I got to hear his thoughts and opinions about life and love because we do nothing in physics so i just over-hear all of his conversations I really like the way he thinks and i even found out that he wants to be a teacher and go RIC just like me. I was shocked. OK anyways for my question.....the senior prom is coming up and I was thinking about asking him. I know that he doesn't have a girlfriend and I think this would be a good time for us to get to know eachother better. My problem is that I'm too quiet in school so nobody knows me like my thoughts but i have a feeling that if this guy heard that i share the same thoughts and feelings about things as him he'll start thinking of me in a different way. I'm just scared that if I do ask him to the prom and he says know then I would ruin it not just for my senior year but if we had classes together in college as well he won't like me or be too shy or something i don't know. I already scared a guy off in 7th grade by giving him my phone number because i knew he liked me but after that he was too shy to even look at me anymore. I don't want that to happen with me and this guy. Maybe our relationship will grow in college but if I ask him to the prom I'll scare him off?? GUYS IF A GIRL ASKED YOU TO THE PROM AND YOU DIDN'T WANT TO GO WITH HER SO YOU SAID NO WOULD YOU FEEL DIFFERENTLY ABOUT HER AFTERWARDS?? DO YOU THINK IF I ASK HIM I'LL RUIN OUR CHANCE TO GET TOGETHER IN COLLEGE?
