*shocked* It has been that many years? I recall when it was announced too, and I did not realize that much time has elaspsed.. it does not seem that long ago to me. I was very sad to hear of his death. Nirvana was really hitting the charts well then, too. Yes, I agree, Kurt was very intellegent, and very musically talented. His death was the loss of a very prominent spokesperson for the thoughts of our youth. I also agree that his legacy will live as long as Morrison.  |

wow...ten years...I was pretty young when he died. I know more about him now because of a friend of mine and my own Kurt wonderings, which I've answered. May he rest in peace, more so than he could in this world. -=+GG+=-  |

I remember when I found out he was dead. I was trying on a wetsuit at a surf store when I came out and dead said "do you know a guy called Kurt Cobain". I said "yeah he is the lead singer of my fave band", dad then went on to say that he had committed suicide. I didn't believe him and told him he was a couple of days late for an April fools day joke. I say it on the news when I was walking past a electrical store though. Man that ruined my holiday.  |

It does not seem like 10 years at all. I was listening to the unplugged cd earlier...but it had not hit me that we were coming up on the anniversary of his death. well, i will be celebrating the musical genius...not mourning the fact he is not here:) Love Yourself,  |

Every once in a while, someone comes along at just the right time in history and completely overtakes the youth of the world with music. Why? Who knows. Maybe they are put here to help the kids of their era cope with the universal teenage problems: parents, friends, society etc. All I know is, bad things happen to them eventually. Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, SRV, Michael Jackson, Elvis, and John Lennon just to name a few. I firmly believe that this cycle of hope and desolation is controlled by someone or something. Kurt is just another casualty in this war, and whether he killed himself or was murdered the outcome is the same. His death and the death and destruction of so many others breaks my heart. Blessed are the musicians. Peace.  |

a truly amazing artist. our radio station had a big tribute to him today ... played tons of Nivana, voice recordings of him and heaps of other stuff. it was a great loss to the music world the day that kurt died  |

Nirvana is my all time fav and I guarrentee that all the Nirvana albums will be played in my house!! I remember me writting a 56 page documentary on Kurt Cobains Death!! yay...big fan I am!! lol it was fun though!! hehehe thanks for posting!!
