I'm like you and only reuse the ones that had dry foods. I never reuse the freezer bags that had raw meats in them. DragonFlyer |

Well I wash them with dish soap and hot water then rinse them out and dry them with a hand towel.<just make sure theres nothing, like raw meat left behind> It doesnt matter to me whats in it or if it was frozen. Im still alive so apprently the raw meatness...lol hasnt been a issue. Saves money. |

i only reuse them when it doesn't have to do with food.. like, my traveling ones that i out hair care products in and such.. or the bag that holds my medication.. its easier than getting a new one each time. but i don't reuse them for food... i have this thing about foods touching other foods.. i have to get like 3 spoons and forks at lunch at school so i can eat each food seperately..lol |

I also use the bags to hold other stuff as well other than foods, such at toothpaste and other stuff that can be used at a travel bag type of thing. Or I'll use them to put toys, cards, little things in them also. |

My stepdad reuses them, as he's all concerned about environmental issues and such. He just washes them with the rest of the dishes and then he lays them out to dry. |

Um don't think I've ever reused them. I just buy some more. But to answer your question I'd wash them out in some hot soapy water then rinse and let dry. That's funny your house mate puts them in the diswasher! |
