i mean, if there was ever a buddist or atheist table, they wouldn't do anything to them In my opinion, because people see the buddah statue in chinese restaurants, and atheist just don't belife in any god/dess. I mean they just think that pagans worship satan or evil things. But paganism is just a group of earth based religions with different theories about the gods and goddess. Some are dueltheism and others are polytheism. those christian fundies just stand there for hours wasting valuable time more like debating than discussing about pagan vs christianity issues. ok, now i have a headache, i have to go to bed. Sorry if i repeated stuff, i'm just in a ranting 2 cents mood. :( |

I am a born and raised Pagan. I was always taught that God is of course, God.. Goddess is the Mother Earth and all her own Glory. In Christianity, they say that the Mother Mary gave birth to their saviour, well.... I was raised to believe that The Mother Earth gives birth to what saves us, meaning a way to grow our food, create materials to make things like wood furniture, homes and the like, and the materials from her womb (deep in the ground) came the means to make metals and alloys, and ways (the creation of thought and percieivng) to create things with them. Here is a short story I was told as child that may help explain how, as a Pagan, I Revere the Goddess...... Goddess is a part of God. One day, God said to Goddess, I want to create. Goddess, being the feminine of God could bring forth or give birth to all of Gods creations. God created life through Goddess, and as Goddess brang the creation into the world, God would gently breath life into the created. Both were needed to create. God providing the seed to give it life, and Goddesss to bring it to fruitation in the darkness of earth (The Womb of Earth). Both are EQUALLY important to eachother. Most religions forget the Goddess alot, yet eat off her land. Goddess does not judge one to the other, so therefore all can equally share the blessings.. I am told that God and Goddess reside with us, live amoung us, but some are blinded to where they cannot see this. Look into the eyes of a laughing child and tell me that God does not live amoung us. Look at the bounty of any Autumn Harvest and tell me that Goddess is not amoung us. I think we all should think about it a little longer, and in time... Lol.. we are all going to make it one and unite together, without regard to anything but the fact that we all are just plain here and alive! In the name of all gods, Large and not so large, but never small (-: Bless-ed be to you, and surround yourself with a beautiful color of Lavender or violet. This color will protect your emotions from straying from you when things like this crop up and take toll on your reservations of humanity. I apologize for the great length.. I could never just write a few sentences very well, when passionate about something such as this post. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. (sorry for any typos, Lol)  |

I'm a Christian myself and I don't agree with Muslims or Jews or Pagans or whoever else on a lot of religious matters, but if that's what you believe in, go for it. I do think it's sad that most confuse Pagans with Satanists. I mean... they DO have their own religion.  |
