That's a good question. I wonder if a ghost could get inside your body too. And a new question just popped into my head. What if two people were sleeping in the same room, and they both went outside of their body. Could they switch bodies and walk in eachother's shoes? Has anyone ever tried that? |

i've never heard of this happening. how would a demon or spirit know that you weren't in your body in the first place? they would have to be there when you had an obe to know.. don't u think?  |

That is exactly what I wonder! But just for safty, I am going to stay in my body until scientists can prove that they can't. 62511, I wonder if people can switch bodies too! I have a OBE book ( i forget the name of it right now) but it was very good and helped me a lot.. he said that from him practicing it that everyone pretty much has claim to there own body. Its set with you, so no they cant take or possess it. Got Mike?  |

No more than something can normally get into your body. Possession can happen, but it wont come about from having an out of body experiance. You arent completely out anyway, if you were, that would be called death.  |

I been reading alot on this topic lately and I learned that spirit possession happens gradually in stages. The more spiritual sensitivity you have, the more open you are to possession. If you engaged in occult activities, you are a high risk for spirit possession. Possession is usually partial possession and the person usually has the majority of control. The person can live and function in their life, but it takes a large amount of control to live normally. The spirit is always there confusing the person's thinking and trying to get their attention. Usually the spirit is friendly and protective until the person tells it to leave permanently. The spirit will get agitated and begin to show their true hateful nature. A friend of mine was violated sexually by an evil spirit right in her home. The demon spirit woke her up in the middle of the night. She has been on medication and in couseling ever since. These demon spirits are all around us, and they can and will enter your mind and body if you let them. Their main purpose is to corrupt your soul and lead you to satan's dominion in hell. There are ways to protect yourself. If you are a Christian and you believe the Jesus is your Lord and Savior, repeat, In the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of his precious blood, I command you demon to exit my body or home, etc. If you open the door to evil, believe me, evil will come in. The best thing to do is to stay away occult practices. Occult practices attract demon spirits. You don't want to go there. God Bless!  |

If you want there is a book called "Astral Dynamics" by Robert Bruce, he tells you all about it. |

well-I don't know for fact. I have only OBE'd a few times & each time it was by accident. (Not intentional). Now, my Fella says "No", because we are attached to our bodies by a silver cord that some people actually see during an OBE. However, my friend Rev. Jack (and Occultist) says "Yes", that spirits can co-habitate in a body. Human, or inhuman spirits.  |
