Im a lil scared of alot of things, but 2 that are really bad, having my head underwater and walking over a bridge with water under it. Heights can be bad at times too, only because I get dizzy and feel like I will fall over the edge.  |

I have an irrational fear of making a left-hand turn when I am driving. I will sit under a light untill it turns red, or (if that's not an option) I will drive five miles to go a quarter mile from my house just so I can make all right hand turns to get there. I two routes to go everywhere - one home and one to where I am going. I was picking up a friend to go babysit with me on tuesday, and was running late.. I HAD to make a left hand turn and waited under the light untill it turned red.. When I got out of my truck I was shaking and CRYING. My friend had to drive my truck from there because I made myself sick to my stomache. I also hate driving during rush hour and try to avoid traffic whenever possible. Oh! I forgott! I have social anxiety disorder and HATE meeting new people.  |

I got over my phobia of needles!OMG so cool..I have arachnaphobia(sp) fear of spiders and a weird one...fear of a tourniquet(sp) the rubber thingy they tie on your arm to take blood...I almost pass out when they do that and I start sweating.  |

I have extreme arachnaphobia (spiders). I was driving my car once and saw a spider on the dash and stopped my car immediately (in the road) and jumped out. Needless to say, it's a serious problem. I've solved the jumping-out-of-cars problem, though. Now I check for spiders BEFORE I start driving. lol  |

I have an extreme phobia of frogs and toads, which, according to your listed site is Ranidaphobia (frogs) and Bufonophobia (toads). Both scare me half to death. If I'm reading a magazine or something with pictures of frogs or toads, I don't touch the pictures. I scream (literally!) and jump for high ground (chairs, car hoods, you name it! lol) whenever one is near. I hate those "cute" frogs that seem to be everywhere, from light switch plates to slippers. um, as of does it get in the way of everyday life, I dunno, I've had numerous nightmares about frogs, get teased nonstop by friends and family, I don't like swimming in lakes--last summer my younger cousin found one in the weeds using goggles (she was using goggles, not the frog! lol) and just HAD to show it to me--so much for me swimming anymore that day! I needed a tan anyway. :-) But yeah, no clue as to why I'm afraid of them, just am.  |

Frogs hmm..and toads? That seems like a rare phobia. It's not right for people to tease you. Although I have been teased for my phobia. We had to get shots in grade school once.. and I was the only one in the whole school who cried and threw a fit.. people still remember it.. and it was over 7 years ago. -ERHIT |

I woulden't call it a phobia though, but I am extremely freaked out by ticks. I remember having like 5 on each of my sock, luckily not one got the chance to embed itself into my flesh. Ya just can't kill the little devils though, they can't be squished!  |

i get sick when im standing too high from the ground level..and for some reason im terrified of showers..i can take a bath but i just wont enter a shower..when i see the water pouring on me from the top without any control whatsoever i literally feel like crying lol i know it sounds crazy but im simply terrified of water being poured over me @_@  |

Worms and Spiders lol If its raining outside and there are worms in my driveway I don't go outside that day, and if one gets on me I start screaming and crying. As for spiders I cant go in my garage or porch anymore cuzz ive seen spiders there. Great post btw!:D  |

YES I do actually and the scary thign is I see that my fear HAS just happened to someone... I am DEATHLY afraid of going under overpasses or underneath an overhead rail track.... It total freaks me out I am sooo scared that one time it will collapse.  |

!!!Snakes!!! is my phobia hun, I find myself looking for them whenever I am outside in the yard or even walking along the streets, once I was walking along a fairly busy street and this red belly black snake just shot across the road in front of me and only for my dad, who pushed me back I would have stepped on it, well!! my legs shook all the way home, they absolutely terrify me...can't help it!!!hugs  |

I am very arachnaphobic, people think I am foolish to rather die then get bit by a spider. My wife is scared of clowns and dark hallways and when I come home from work early sometimes. She hears me walking down the hall and goes nuts!  |
