Endless Highway
Endless highway, with no name,
South or North, who cares, it's all the same.
Just point in a direction, I'll go that way.
Destiny unclear from day to day.
Just want to leave and hit the road,
Find somewhere to rid this load.
But from yourself, where can you hide,
You run, you seek, the hope within has finally died.
You think back on the days before,
Hope abounding with such galore.
The darkness descends, the shadows prevail.
who will listen, or understand,
there's just too much to begin to tell.
Just one soft word, one gentle touch,
Is that really asking all that much?
I sought, I looked, I hoped for a love to last,
but all seems lost, too much time has passed.
I close my eyes, I seek your face,
to a simple time, a different place.
I loved so much, we had so much to gain,
no where to run, to escapes life's torrent pain.
Endless highway what is your name?
Could be Dimensia, Distortion, or simply Insane?
It matters not, to me it's all the same.
