Hey everyone. My third oldest cuzin is graduating from High school this year and we got an invitation to go to his ceremony, but it was on a Thursday night and they live 2 hours from us, so we could not attend. But we were also invited to go to his grad party, but then my grandpa and grandma got very sick and were unable to drive to Phoenix for the party. So my aunt said, instead of making everyone drive for 2 hours to have the party, why dont we all come to Tucson and stay the weekend and have the party there. Well everyone said thats great! Lets have it the weekend after the 20th of May. So it was planned. My Aunt, Uncle and 2 Cuzins were coming to Tucson for Chris's grad party. Then it started....
Then my Aunt Colleen#2, Uncle David and cuzin-Amber decided we are driving to Phoenix on the 14th of May, even though Chris's grad is on the 13. Didnt bother to tell anyone till 3 days before and instead of calling my Aun Colleen#1 and Unlce Jeorge in Phoenix, they called my house to tell my mom. We she called my Aunt in phx and told her and she was like uhhhhhh ok? Why? So they arrived yesterday and talked with my Aunt and uncle in Phx and they made plans to go see my oldest cuzins (Scott) new house in Phx. Good and well. But then yesterday my Uncle Mark said he was driving my grandma and grandpa to Phx to see my Uncle David and all them while they were in town. Well he did this without even talking with my aunt Colleen#1 who lives in phx.
ANYWAY, my Grandma watches us on Fridays from 2:00-6:30, when my mom gets home, and she told my mom that my Uncle Mark was taking them to Phx. Well my Aunt Colleen#1 had NO IDEA they were coming. They made plans to go see Scott's house in the morning and then my Uncle Mark made plans to drive my grandma and grandpa out there in the morning. So basically my Aunts, Uncles and Cuzins woulda been at Scott's house and my uncle and grandparents woulda been at their house when they weren't even home. Great idea huh?!
THEN my Uncle Bill calls and says that my Uncle David, Aunt Colleen#2 and Cuzin Amber are coming to stay in Tucson over the weekend. But they aren't. They are staying in Phoenix. Well I was really really counting on seeing my Cuzins and Aunts and Uncles. And since MY FAMILY DOESNT KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE I dont get to see anyone. No one knows how to pick up a phone and call someone to make plans. They just arrive whenever and my house doesnt run like that. We call and make plans or ask when a good time to come over is, we dont just show up and say HI WE'RE HERE!! And every single one of em does that!! My Aunt Colleen#1's family is exactly the same. They make plans. But no oe else in the family knows how to!!!
Last time I saw my Cuzin Amber and her fam (uncle david and Aunt colleen #2), they just came over at 9:30 at night!! The night before the second day of my swim championships when my mom and I were making salads and such for the next day. I was still in my swim suit, I was cooking, food was EVERYWHERE! I was gonna get in the shower at 9:45 so I could get some good rest for the next day and they just knock on the door and expect us to drop everything so we can visit with them. Now if they had called and made plans to come over BEFORE 9:30 at NIGHT we coulda been able to sit down, talk, visit and not be rushing back in fourth into the kitchen to check on the food!!!
This family is crazy!! They (my uncle david, Aunt Colleen#2 and Cuzin Amber) make plans, dont ask permission, just show up and say this is what we are doing. They planned an 80th birthday party for my grandpa last year, AT HIS HOUSE, IN THE POOL AREA, without ANY permission. And this was when my dad and I were draining the pool because it was so dark green it looked like a swamp! They just sent out the invitations and said this is whats gonna happen. They had NO IDEA the pool was being drained, washed, bleached, then refileld and shocked again. And we were doing all this the DAY BEFORE they planned the party!!! So my mom called them and sid the pool is actually being EMPTIED that day and grandma said u cant have the partyt at her house. So of course a HUGE cluster came abut AGAIN and we had to move the party elsewhere and my poor uncle had to host it at his house and he wasnt ready to.
They just do things without consulting with ANYONE!! My family is NUTS!! Im literally going INSANE over here!! I've heard about 50 different stories about thier plans for this weekend and I dont know which one to believe. So my household made plans and if they just come over, we're just gonan have to tell tem we're busy this weekend. They have 4 different households expecting one family to come to their house on a certian day, but then they do something completely differnt!! Im going crazy over here!!!!!
I love my family to death, but come on people lets get a lil more organized here!!!
