they want 10 inches or more...they'll take anything under but they state odds are they will sell it to offset the cost of making the wigs...I just donated to LOL back in november :D |

Cool post :) I'd always wondered about this, I have hair that goes down to my rear, I am gonna hopefully be having kids soon & I dread the thought of their little fingers getting all snarled in my hair, I'm sure if I keep it long I will have bald patches all over, so I'll probably wack it off then :) I will probably donate it to the locks of love :) Thanks so much for asking this question & Take Care! |

I always thought it had to be 10 inches or longer. My sister donated a few years ago, and that's what she was told. |

I checked out the website first www.locksoflove.org and then when I got my hair cut off back in feb or march it was long enough to donate...really talk to your stylist they'll usually send it off for you. If locks of love doesn't take it they send it somewhere else to be sold and used to make wigs or whatever. And you can donate it if it's been dyed/permed because mine had been dyed blonde (and I'm a brunette) |
