Thanks everyone for all your prayers and good wishes. Here's the update. I've been to see my surgeon today and he said that he took 3 lymph nodes out they were all OK! He got the results from the MRI on both breasts and said that there's no sign of cancer anywhere else, except that one lump on my left breast. The only thing he did notice was that there's bruising around the area of the cancer, but after all the needles I had to endure, it doesn't really surprise me. All in all, the report was very good, concidering.
He wants to shrink the cancer first so that he can try and avoid removing the breast completely. He wants to remove only the cancer and surrounding tissue. So Friday May 21st, is the day I get my first Chemo treatment. I'm ready for this battle, thanks to everyone's prayers. Love and Hugs,  |

Thanks Ky-Bluebird, That was a great prayer. I just came back from my first chemo and I'm naturally feeling rather tired. But 3 months of this, whoa! It seems like it's going slow because of the anticipation. Thanks to you and everyone for all the prayers. They really mean a great deal to me. |

Just an update on the first chemo. It was hard the first night after the chemo, I was weak and suffered nausia, but after the pill for the nausia and a good nights sleep, plus my prayers, I feel so much better this morning. I even went for a walk in the woods. Thanks for all your prayers. |

Of course you have my good thoughts and prayers! I pray the Lord sends you much strength, love, and healing! Someone very close to me has been fighting lung cancer for about 2 years now and she has been on and off the chemotherapy and her doctor suggested meditation and also listening to soothing music. Also, I am not sure if you can but he also suggested a pet, often these pets can lighten our spirits and bring a strong bond of love and friendship. If you ever need to talk I am here always (((hugs))) hang in there and I know you will get through this! All my love,  |
