Remorse-ERHIT   Author:  49910  Category:(Poetry) Created:(5/16/2004 5:04:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (406 times) It's been two years past Since I seen his face last Today was the day I met him again Slowly but surely the pain settled in If ever I felt that love held me His soul I fell for completely We lasted four months in love With adoration made from above He was my light, he was my dark And for the fire, he was the spark Complete my life did seem to be I gave him a special part of me I remember how our eyes would lock It seemed like we owned the time in the clock He was my lover, he was my best friend He said that our love would never end A month past and I chose to run away I still don't know why I didn't stay We both ran into someone new Yet there was something we both knew If ever we held love so tight and near We held it with eachother until it disappeared Night and day his memory crossed my ground I compared his love to everyone I found He came back one day and said I was still his one We were going to try it again and I wouldn't run He told me to wait for him, and so I waited But every thought of him coming back faded He came back one day and I began to cry Little did I know that this was his goodbye He had found someone else and they were getting married For his little baby girl this girl had carried I tried and tried again to attempt loves course Yet in every ending all my heart had left was remorse I still wonder how it would have been with us together Yet that one single word broke my heart forever goodbye... -ERHIT "EveryRoseHasItsThorn" You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click here Scroll all the way down to read replies.
