It doesn't matter what other people think. If you feel comfortable that way, then dress that way, as long as it is not offensive. If your clothes make a mother cover her child's eyes, then I suggest more conservative clothing, but if not, be YOU! :) |

i will say that you shouldn't let other people judge you or change you... but maybe you're taking the way you dress a little too far? i don't know, i've never seen you, so i can't tell. but yeah, ex-boyfriends tend to tell it like it is. |

what your Ex said was blunt he didnt sugar coat anything... i agree what he said was wrong but the underlying message is what he was getting across might mean something.... he was telling you the truth (of how he feels) though i think he should have said it in a nicer way |

who cares what someone else thinks about you....what you think about yourself is what counts as far as I'm concerned |

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. I feel comfortable in baggy clothes rather than wearing tight clothes or showing skin. I think that looks bad on me. At least he was being honest with you. Dont' let anyone judge you. |

I think the way your ex brought it up may have been the wrong way, but I think he was trying to let you know why people may say stuff like that to you. I haven't ever met you or seen how you dress, so I cannot say for sure if you do or don't dress conservatively, but he was telling you honestly what he thought about it. It may not have been the response you wanted, but it seems like he was sincerely trying to help you. Guys, sometimes dont know how to relay their thoughts to us the nicest ways, especially when they are younger. Take it in stride, listen to it, and if you feel it doesnt in the least bit describe you, then dont let it affect you. If you feel like it may describe you and you feel uncomfortable about what others think then change it, but do it for yourself and not for anyone else. Be happy with yourself, and dont let anyone's critizism get to you, because if you are comfortable then it shouldnt matter what others think. Good luck with it. *hugs* |

He may be being just honest with you, sometimes people don't sugar coat things, but that is just his opinion, maybe you do, and maybe you don't, I've never seen you, but if its what you like, then wear it. |
