I need your help if you know anything about rabbit diseases and how to treat them or if you're a vet! [note: all the vets are cloesd today so i'm on a really tight time] My rabbit [he's about 7 years old] was doing very well yesterday morning when my mom was petting him on the head and he suddenly collasped. He didn't move but he was still breathing. Right now, i put him on the sofa to rest and occasinally he would try to get up but would fall. He had sort of an irregular hearbeat where it pops up after he exhales. He had a lot of mucus in his nose in the morning. His eye has these white hard lumps on them. I'm scared to pick them out cuz it might hurt them but i dont know what to do. His fur in the back has these white small cotton-like lumps on them. He hasn't been eating cuz he can't move but when i tried feeding him by hand he won't eat it. He would only drink. He isn't pooing either. Does anybody know what's going on with him and how to cure it?? =/

Date: 5/17/2004 1:28:00 AM  From Authorid: 54174    kinda reminds me of my bunny =( she was almost 9, and over time her eyes started to become really runny, she died last July of old age, because just all of a sudden she just stopped eating and wouldn't do anything but maybe drink a little water. I hope your bunny just has some sort of bug though, you never know. My rabbit's name was Bunny. she was such a cutie. I miss her so! ALthough! I was happy I was able to have her as long as I did, I've read in many places rabbits only are supposed to live an average of 5 years
