Well, I had that happen one year. In one of my yearbooks they had my last name as Fry instead of what it really was(My last name doesnt even start with an F). Another year another girl was really mad because they had put my name under her picture..LOL..They make some whopper mistakes sometimes..hehe. Thanks for sharing:) |

We got our yearbooks last Friday, and there were so many mistakes in there that its not even funny. Our yearbooks are $55 each, and the mistakes in there included a whole page with the wrong names on the pictures, a Sophmore got his picture put in the FACULTY/STAFF section instead of the sophmore section, and under academic pictures, they misspelled academics!!!! they spelled it ACDEMICS in big bold letters!!!! that just makes this a more memorable yearbook though, just shows what our school is really like. |

lol, we have to remember that the students make it. I'm going to have to get on the yearbook commitee soon and our next yearbook will have no mistakes. (I'm good at editting and stuff.) :) |

My yearbooks were pretty much error free...I think I've only seen one major error and that was they accidently had two names switched my senior year.....so like the name "lisa" was under Tim and the name "Tim" was under lisa |

i would go up to the yearbook committee and say that it's horrible that all the spelling errors and that you are disgusted that they spelt your name wrong!! they have everyone's name on a register and that someone hasent been doing thier job right.. i was quite annoyed when they screwed around with my grade 12 senior write up it looked like i was this big suck up and they completely made it up!! yet everything i had put down on the little paper they didnt use! so i was a touch annoyed(and still am nearly 4 years later!) |

I remember when I was in highschool, we never got our year books till a little afterwards school got out. But we had books called Day by Day that has students poems in them and we used those to get autographs and stuff. I wouldn't want to write in my high school year books anyways. But I did when I was in middle school. |

mine werent all that bad. mine cost about 45 or so, but the editors were great, very through with their work. Everybody makes mistakes, even the best editors can make mistakes. yours on the other hand should have made your books a little cheaper, some sort of recompense for their mistakes. mine were great, but i feel the people make the books, and the people make the mistakes, but it takes some nice people to make a great book and deadlines make no excuse for poor quality. Love ya tonz |

i can understand there will be a few minor mistakes in every book... BUT magor mistakes like mixed up pictures with names, writing peoples named obviously wrong and writing stuff what isnt true in people's bios isnt acceptable!! a teacher is supose to supervise the comittee does no one look over them?? |

I would get so mad if I wasn't in my yearbook. Even though I'm a pretty calm and passive person in public, I think I would go to the yearbook people and shout and shout until I hadn't the breath to shout anymore. |

The yearbooks we had in 11th grade were horrible. The front cover, looked like a newspaper, tribune type thing and the VERY first word, THE, was spelled wrong. And it went down hill from there. In my Senior Yearbook .. Where I had my quote and picture, they spelled my last name wrong. And its a very easy name. What was really horrible, we had a tribute to a classmate who died ... and they got the years of his life messed up. |

In elementary school there were a lot of mistakes. My high school yearbook that I got last year didn't have any mistakes that I notice. I don't get my yearbook until June 16 so I don't know if there is any mistakes but I know my school double checks the yearbook a billion times that probably why I didn't notice any mistakes. Thanks for posting! |
