I think most of us at one time or another have read a childrens book by Judy Blume. She was one of my favorites. She wrote Freckle Juice, Otherwise known as Shelia the Great, Are you there God Its Me Margaret, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, and Blubber. And there were a bunch more. And I've read most of them when I was a kid. Anyway, recently I read an adult novel by Judy Blume. The first one I read was Summer Sisters. It was awesome. And you'd think that since she is normally a childrens author that these books would be very tame but nothing could be farther from the truth. Anyway, the other one I read was Wifey. I hated to get to the end.. Have you ever read any of the adult novels by Judy Blume?

Date: 5/17/2004 8:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 9130    When I was in high school I read a few of them, but to be honest I thought they were just too depressing. I loved her childrens books, but I can't say I am a fan of her adult books.
Date: 5/17/2004 8:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 31255    I read all her children's books and one of her adult books when I was too young to be reading it. I don't even know what the name of the book was now though.
Date: 5/17/2004 9:29:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53427    I didn't find them depressing. I thought they were hilarious. And yeah I guess there were some sad parts, but I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. Wifey was definitely the funniest one:)
