Oh no. I am so sorry Bride. I wished that it had not happened. I still sit here and read some of his old post's. The only regret that I now have is that I didnt buy and send him a copy of his book to get it signed. This I do know. He is no longer in any pain and from what I gathered he was in considerable amounts. Please keep up updated on the details.  |

Oh Starla, I'm so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. Even though not many people knew of his illness, I had heard. I just never guessed that it was this serious. I admired Frank, for his intellegence, humor and different way of looking at everyday issues. Many times his interesting stories were beyond what a 'G' rated site could handle, but his words always had a brilliance to them. Frank will be missed by all who knew him. Hopefully we will be allowed to keep his posts here on USM, so he will live on in what he left to us as his legacy. So long Frank, just in this lifetime. I believe there is much more to the 'future' than we know. |

I remember once he e-mailed me and told me something about his illness, but he also told me not to tell anyone here because he didn't want people to worry. I never spoke a word about it with anyone. But... I never thought it was this serious. I am so sorry you are going through all this. I am so sad and crying right now for I wasn't expecting to log on and find about this. It is a terrible thing to lose someone like this...the pain can be unbearable. Know that there are people out there that have gone through what you are going through aadn even though seem like strangers to you, have you in their thoughts. I know that I will be thinking of you....take care of YOU, in this time...and don't be afraid to do whatever you have to to get through the pain. Always remember that no one is ever really gone, they are just in a different place now...and we will all be together again someday.  |

i am in total shock. i had heard that frank was sick but i didnt know what was wrong with him or that it was so serious. i never got around to giving him my email address as i changed jobs and computers. i dont know what to say to you bride, frank was a really different guy .... he had me in hysterics more often than not and left me speechless and in awe of his writing. i cant imagine what you are going through now, i will keep you and his family in my thoughts. I didn't know he'd passed, because I've been away from this site for a few months. I was flipping thru the picture site & clicked on his name, just to see if anything had been posted by him, & when I seen the rip on his picture, first thing I said was "Oh My God..." & my mouth just dropped.
