I don't know of any non drowsy motion sickness pills, years ago I used to get car sick in my uncles car only ( he had droopy roof upholstery and that for some reason made me feel sick to be in his car)I used to take the motion sickness pills when we would go long distances in his car,and those pills had me knocked out for a while... I hope you find something non drowsy for him and that you all have a good time :) |

Motion sickness medication with SCOPACE tablets. SCOPACE contains scopolamine, an effective medicine in preventing nausea and vomiting induced by motion. ... possible that you would not need motion sickness medication after you adjust to the new ... took an OTC motion sickness medicine. found these of a health department site..hope it helps. |

When I was on ship, a lot of the guys would eat sardines and crackers to keep the queasiness down when we would hit rough seas. The oil in the sardines tended to line the stomach. The best thing I have found though for those who get sick on a boat is to find a solid reference out away from you that you can focus on that will allow your mind to see the motion it is feeling. |

Like Base said, dramine, BUT in the less drowsey formula. I took a normal on the way to Catalina Island and I fell asleep on the boat, then I took a less drowsey on the way back and I was wide awake the whole time. Have a great time!!!!! *huggs* |

I took Gravol. I don't remember it making me sleepy. I was sick, sick, SICK SICK (I was really sick lol) after taking a two-day train trip (Like I was throwing up every minute) and they gave me gravol, and I felt so much better. I had enough for the trip home, and I didn't get sick then either. |

Thank you everyone for your comments. I think I am going to try the band for him. That way he can take it on and off whenever. Its not like we are going to constantly be on a boat. As for Sardines...I dont' think I can get him to eat those....yuck..lol...Thanks again everyone!!!! |
