EYES, SHADES AND RAZOR BLADES

You look so peaceful, when you sleep,
Your breath is something, I could keep.
You can't hurt me, when you lay,
When your dreaming, I'm okay.

Your arms hold tightly, but your heart feels gone,
Your moves they shake me, something's wrong.
Your words they break me, as I lay,
with eyes, shades, and razor blades.

My tears fall quickly, my eyes are dead,
I see you turning, in my head.
I go to catch you, but you break,
Your pieces cut me,
My blood you take.

It hurts to mourn you,
still I cry,
I'll hide the sun from my eyes.
My skin is numb, and so am I,
times moving quickly,
It's time to die.

I take the matches
to my knife,
I burn the tip,
to spear my life.

Your words raced through me,
to form my grave,
And on my heart, I carved, my last I love you,
With eyes, shades, and razor blades.
